General Medical Visits
10 min meet and greet – A great place to start if you’d like to assess if we’re a good fit.
Deep Dive – This is a 90 min visit (TeleMed) in which Dr K conducts an extensive intake discussing your medical history, she compiles a functional medicine time-line, and orders testing as appropriate. After the visit is over Dr K reviews any historical data such as prior tests and medical records which have been submitted through a secure EHR portal.
Follow up visits – A variety of visit times are available. These visits can be as short as 15min for a quick check-in to see if the protocol is going well or to answer any additional quick questions that came up. The longest follow up visit time available is 1hr. These Extended follow up visits are great for when new things come up or if there are a lot of labs to review. Dr K goes over every lab and explains it’s meaning to help her patients understand their bodies better. Patients usually love the additional knowledge and it helps them really integrate the plan as they understand why each recommendation was made. Go to our scheduling page to book your visit:

Facial Rejuvenation Services
Microneedling is a common cosmetic procedure for face, neck and décolletage to help with fine lines and wrinkles, acne scarring, and other facial surface irregularities. The MicroPen EVO™ creates thousands of controlled micro-injuries to stimulate the skin’s natural wound repair process, which includes production of collagen and elastin, resulting in an improvement in appearance.
Dr K uses the latest technology, the Eclipse MicroPen EVO™, which has FDA Class II device clearance for both microneedling as well as PRP treatments. Microneedling has a reported high efficacy, safety, and post-treatment recovery rates has made it popular amongst many doctors and patients alike.
Best results are typically achieved after multiple sessions, however, most patients report improvement after the first procedure. Discuss frequency for your skin with Dr K at your prep visit.
Why add PRP to Microneedling?
PRP, or Platelet-Rich Plasma, is extracted following a simple blood draw and processing. The platelet-rich plasma (water/liquid portion of the blood) contains many healing factors including platelets and growth factors which stimulate the stem cell process. This process improves the skins overall integrity via new collagen production and improved nourishment from new blood vessels to repair and revitalize damaged skin. PRP can slow down the sings of aging especially if done regularly. Benefits may last up to 2 years depending on the patient.

Although PRP and microneedling are generally very safe procedures, there are a few circumstances in which this procedure is contraindicated. During this free 15min intake Dr K will take a brief medical history to ensure your safety. Some contraindications are active infections or rashes as well as keloid scars (or prone to keloids), as well as certain autoimmune conditions.
CANCELLATION AND RESCHEDULING OF APPOINTMENTS
There is a 48 hour cancellation and rescheduling policy. Your appointment must be cancelled or rescheduled at least 48 hours (2 business days) prior to your appointment time or you will be charged a $50 dollar cancellation fee. We do make exceptions in emergency situations. Please call or email our office to cancel or reschedule your appointment.
PAYMENT AND REFUNDS
It is our policy that the balance/payment is due at the time of service unless other financial arrangements are made in advance. Dr K requires all patients/clients to pay at the end of each visit. Full refunds will be provided (less than a 10% processing fee) for any appointment cancelled more than 48hrs in advance if any funds were deposited.
When your account is reviewed and a refund is approved, we will initiate the refund to your credit card (or original method of payment). You will receive the credit within 7-10 days, depending on your card issuer’s policies.
